Screen Engine/ASI is the audience-insights firm Hollywood studios, networks, and streamers hire to test their biggest titles before they ship. The methodology is rigorous. The audience for it — studio execs, marketers, and trade press — is famously hard to impress.
My job: turn proprietary frameworks (LoveQuotient®, Buzzability, Playability vs. Marketability), syndicated products (Tracktion), and original trend research into a feed that earns the click in a category that usually doesn't.
Screen Engine/ASI sits behind the curtain of a lot of high-stakes Hollywood decisions — test screenings, theatrical tracking, streaming research, brand compatibility studies. Internally, that work is full of proprietary frames that the industry uses to make calls: LoveQuotient®, Buzzability, the split between Playability and Marketability, the weekly Tracktion theatrical leaderboard.
Externally, none of that was showing up consistently. Different decks, different fonts, different color treatments, no through-line. The challenge was to take a research firm's vocabulary and give it a visual system a marketer would actually save and forward.
I split the brand-design work into three streams that all share the same grid, type system, and color palette — proprietary IP, weekly market intelligence, and the conference / press circuit. Each stream answers a different question for the buyer.
Designed the social explainers for the methodology that drives the business — LoveQuotient®, Buzzability, Playability vs. Marketability. Circuit-board motifs, neon-on-deep-purple, sentence-case explainers. The frameworks now travel with their own visual identity.
Built the templates for syndicated products and trend reports — the weekly Tracktion theatrical leaderboard, original studies on emerging categories like micro-dramas, and tentpole event commentary (Beyoncé's RENAISSANCE tour for BET). Editorial-grade graphics, not stat slides.
Conference creative for QRCA and the Insights Association. Speaker assets, breakout-session promos, member-spotlight features. The pieces that put Screen Engine/ASI in the room with the research community — and look like they belong there.
The hardest part of B2B research is getting non-researchers to feel why the framework matters. These are the social explainers for the proprietary IP — the same vocabulary that lives inside Screen Engine/ASI's biggest decks, dressed for a feed scroll.

Research firms get hired for the rigor. They get remembered for what the work looks like in someone else's deck.— Working note, Screen Engine/ASI engagement
Trend reports, syndicated products, and tentpole event commentary. The job is to take a deck-quality data set and make it travel — as a single image, on a phone, in a feed full of much louder things.
